6mm 1 tooth mill for plastic or aluminium LE
This milling cutting tool is ideal for cutting aluminium plates. In fact we use this particular tool to mill all of our machines and while it does not give a finish that is perfect, it does allow us to take deep passes at one time. The 1 toothed mill designs allow for the aluminium or plastic shavings to escape cold without heating up or melting to the tool. Normally when you mill aluminium or plastic the problem arises that you must cut cold or else the mill will get deposit of aluminium on it which heats up and then melted to the tool. This causes the tool to break but with 1 tool you can even dry cut without cutting liquid, and still take substantial passes through aluminium without any problem. Another advantage of the 1 tooth tools is that you can turn faster with the spindle because the advance per tooth ratio changes.
We have 2 types of mills each with 2 different hardness values available but both are HSS tools and work nicely with the Badog machines.
